Office and administrative buildings
The modern world of work is always changing. This is shown particularly by the increasingly popular open space offices, which are characterised, for example, by floor to ceiling windows and large office spaces without partitions. The key here is to use the available space to the maximum and be as flexible as possible with regard to furnishings. The electrical infrastructure and the routing of the cables for power and data must adapt to these requirements. One of the simplest exercises for the OBO portfolio.
OBO solutions for modern office buildings:
- OKA open, screed-flush duct system: With the OKA floor-flush duct system, large volumes can be routed in the floor. The duct can be opened and closed using lockable covers and the floor boxes can be moved within the course of the duct. This allows the flexible adaptation of outlets for current and data to changes in the room furnishings.
- GES service outlets: Service outlets supply workstations and other points in the middle of the room with power and data connections via the floor. Ideal for modern office design. The service outlets are available in round and rectangular designs. The plastic and metal variants blend discreetly into the individual room design.
- Deskboxes: The OBO Deskboxes offer direct access to power, data and multimedia connections for every workplace. Three different Deskbox solutions in high-quality materials and elegant designs are available to meet individual requirements: The freely placeable DB Deskbox, the lowerable DBV Deskbox and the foldable DBK Deskbox.
- Rapid 80 double duct: The Rapid 80 double duct unifies design and function in one system in an uncomplicated and convincing manner. The two fully separate duct compartments are used to accept cables with different potentials, for example data and heavy current cables. This excludes electromagnetic interference in the parallel cable run.
- Rapid 80 with integrated windowsill: The Rapid 80 can be fastened to the wall using a panel and its depth can also be adjusted. Firstly, slats are snapped onto the panels, forming a flush closure as a windowsill.
- Black-coated cable trays: What connects modern office buildings and office landscapes in historic old buildings? Both place great emphasis on an impressive appearance. Frequently, open ceilings can be found in these building types. The OBO cable trays with a black, powder-coated finish are ideal for use in environments such as these, which have aesthetic requirements.
